Kim – It was your challenge! And labs seem perpetually starved. Good Grief!

Pam – Yeah, I kinda noticed. But I figured perhaps they were more interesting than mentioning things like ‘I have blue eyes’. Besides, the fact that my son likes yellow means I am perpetually having to seek out all things yellow (with horses if possible) and I can’t even begin to tell you how the purple thing has affected my life…

My lab eats everything too! A couple of Christmases ago, she ate an entire one-pound bag of M&M’s, causing us to rush her to the doggie ER. They calculated her weight against the amount of chocolate and told us it wasn’t lethal, but we might be up all night with her. She paced all night and barfed about once every half hour for about four hours. So much for a “Silent Night” on Christmas!

Hyun – Don’t worry about the typos!
I’ve only managed one full size adult blanket so far. I’ve mostly concentrated on baby blankets. I do have some really neat patterns – and the occasional bootie.

I think there are a number of things that we share in common. I must taught myself to crochet this year! Making blankets for now. this is a good way ot learn about a person.

Yes, I guess family is pretty important. I don’t think about it that way too much, they just come first.

And that same great grandmother used to enter local and state fairs with her canned peaches. I remember being led down into the cellar of the farmhouse and being shown the winning peaches. They were over 50 years old by then, but since they’d won the blue ribbon, no one was allowed to touch them. My dad used to joke that you’d better not, they’d homogenize.

100 Random Things About Me? Great job. Something we might want to do every year – check in with ourselves. No cheating by looking back over last year’s list, etc.

Love the multiple references to your family – all the way back to your great grandmother at the World’s Fair – the importance of family rings through your list and adds a fine, savory taste to your persona.
