No, I didn’t tour the houses then. I was too stressed out about grades! I wish I had explored the town more. Hopefully, when I take Andy there, we can explore all the houses. glad you enjoyed the visit.

Hi Hyun! Caught your eye did it? We saw the door – the first photo up above is that door. Its in the museum for now (its blurry because I wasn’t allowed to use a flash). Its a very cute little town. Have you toured all the houses?

Hey, how did you like the historic Deerfield? Did you check out the Deerfield Academy at all, my old high school? there’s a famous Deerfield door on one the dorms on campus. I want to take Andy to Deerfield sometime soon so that he can check out where I spend my part of my teenage years.

That last one on the bottom left? I wanted to run up their front walk and unhook the wreath (for continuity)! It was one of the historic houses that is privately owned and occupied. But I didn’t. It seemed too rude.

Jenifer – It was a kind of salmon pink.

Pam – No, they’re not in the book. I was just frustrated by not being able to photograph inside, so I took a lot of outside photos. Maybe another book down the line.

I’ll have to see how the new house shapes up – see if there’s a place for them on the wall.

Those doors are fabulous! Each one has so much character. I think a front door says a lot about a home. And your pictures are great! I agree you should frame them.

Gorgeous doors! You could frame these and have a great photo grouping somewhere in your house. I love the orange door (lower right), but I’m particularly digging the pink exterior (top right). Is it really that pink in person? It’s gorgeous!
